Karaimo Koryu Spring Homestay Programme since 1982
It is the two-weeks-long homestay programme, which you stay and share time with Japanese family in Kagoshima or Miyazaki prefecture. During your stay, you'll become a member of the family through experiences in family, local, school and labor exchange. "Karaimo Koryu" gives you the opportunity of embracing each other's culture and life -which experience will never be given by the sight seeing trip-, and of breaking stereotypes and making good friendships by working and spending daily life with Japanese family.

It is a 2 weeks homestay program which holds in July every year.
Originally it began for mutual understanding between Japan and Korea, but now participants are university students of learning Japanese and Japanese culture in Korea, Hong Kong and Macao.
We build a family relationships with the same Asian people.

In Osumi Peninsula where "Karaimo Koryu" originated, splendid nature of sea, mountain and villages open. In this programme, we can enjoy not only the outdoor activities like nature trekking, but also comunicate with company from the world !!
This is a homestay programme that people in Kagoshima visit Asian farm village, and experience their daily life to make people in Kagoshima to feel the true Asian circumstances and deepen mutual understanding, and to develop the cosmopolitan young people.
We have visited Thailand, Sri Lanka, Korea, Mongolia, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Myanmar till now.
In "Karaimo Koryu Summer ", university students of Korea, Hong Kong and Macao comes over for homestay from their country. "Oyaimo Koryu" is a trip plan for the hostfamily to visit their homecountry and meet participation students.
